Returning to education after a brain injury
Most children are able to make a return to education after their injury. This return may come in different shapes and sizes.
In this section, we look at some of the decisions children and families face, and offer advice on how to deal with them. If you'd like to find more general information about acquired brain injury at any time, you can find it here.On 1 September 2014 the government changed the way children and young people with special educational needs (SEN) are supported. The changes were introduced through a new law, the Children and Families Act 2014, which applies to England only.
