Running for brain injury

Well done to all the London Marathon 2019 runners – and special thanks to those running for brain injury.

Celebrities running for The Children’s Trust included TV and radio presenter Jenni Falconer, who was one of the fastest celebrities, finishing the course in three hours and 58 minutes. This is the third time Jenni, an ambassador of The Children’s Trust, has run the London Marathon for the charity having been involved since 2009. Sam Attwater, the EastEnders actor and Dancing On Ice 2011 winner, also ran for The Children’s Trust. This was Sam’s second marathon for the charity after successfully completed the London Classics last year. His fundraising since last year has reached nearly £22,000.   Headway had two professional cyclists running for them, Matt and Nikki Brammeier, while Tessa Jowell’s son, Matt Mills, ran for The Brain Tumour Charity in his mum’s memory. Thanks to everyone who ran to support brain injury and well done to every runner who took part!
