Prince Harry shows his support for brain injury ID card

HRH Prince Harry is visiting Headway today to launch the charity’s new initiative – the Brain Injury Identity Card.

The card aims to help the police identify brain injury survivors and ensure they’re given appropriate support when they come into contact with the criminal justice system. The card will also give cardholders the confidence to explain their support needs if they require assistance in everyday situations. The launch takes place at Headway Suffolk and Peter McCabe, Headway’s chief executive, said: “We are delighted that Prince Harry has generously agreed to support this important project.” Prince Harry also supported Headway in 2013 when he opened the charity’s new home and met with a number of people directly affected by brain injury.
