Newsreader visits children with brain injury

Nicholas Owen chatted to 12-year-old about the rehabilitation process.

Nicholas, who is an ambassador of The Children's Trust, visited the charity on Friday (23 October); one of many visits for the newsreader and journalist. He met staff and children and got to see the activities at the charity's school and rehab service. He chatted with 12-year-old Velstrin who explained that SLT stood for speech and language therapy and described the different therapies he was having as part of his brain injury rehabilitation.  Nicholas has been an ambassador of The Children's Trust since 2012.
