McBusted heart-throb meets children with brain injury

Harry Judd's brother-in-law sustained a brain injury, so it's a cause close to his heart.

The famous drummer visited The Children's Trust in Surrey where he met children who are undergoing rehabilitation for their injuries. He was joined by his wife, Izzy during the visit on December 16. The pair chatted to children and families about their stories and progress of recovery so far. Izzy's brother, Rupert sustained a brain injury as a result of an accident in 1997. It was through his support of the charity that the couple became involved as well. Talking about the visit Harry said: "The children I have met today are very brave. Despite what's going on in their lives they still have beaming smiles and infectious laughter. It was a pleasure to meet them." Teenager, Emily Newman who was in a road accident earlier this year was delighted to meet the star. "It was brilliant to meet Harry as I love McBusted," said the 14-year-old. "I had my photo taken and he signed an autograph. It was amazing."
