Invictus Games: life beyond disability

The Paralympic-style event launches with an opening ceremony tomorrow night.

Prince Harry is championing the Invictus Games which is in its first year and is an international sporting event for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women. Over 400 competitors will take part and organisers have said the games will use the power of sport to send a positive message about life beyond disability; it will inspire recovery, support rehabilitation and to reiterate that people are not defined by their disabilities.   Read more about the games.
