"Inspirational" eight-year-old honoured

An eight-year-old girl recovering from an acquired brain injury has been recognised with an award.

Charlotte Neve, of Colne, Lancashire, was presented with the Stroke Association’s Children and Young people’s Award by Outnumbered star Daniel Roche. Her mother, Leila Neve, has written movingly of Charlotte’s experiences on The Brain Injury Hub, and said she was delighted with the award.
