Holly Valance supports children's brain injury charity

The actress and singer is the latest ambassador for The Children's Trust. Holly, who is known for her role in Neighbours and for her singing career, said: “I am very proud to be involved with The Children’s Trust. I visited the charity last year and was moved by the bravery of the children and the care and dedication of the staff working there. It’s a truly fantastic place and I am really excited to be helping raise awareness of brain injury in young people and the fab work of The Children’s Trust.” “Like every parent, I cherish my child and cannot imagine what I would do if anything happened to her. The Children’s Trust is one of those amazing places you know would be there to help should the worst happen. It’s a fantastic organisation and I am very pleased to be a part of it.” Dalton Leong, Chief Executive of The Children’s Trust said, “We are thrilled that Holly has chosen to support The Children’s Trust. She has already become very involved with our work, visiting our national rehabilitation centre and representing us at the BGC Charity Day. It is wonderful to have her support and I know she will be a fantastic ambassador and advocate for our charity.” The Children’s Trust offers the largest residential brain injury rehabilitation unit in the country. Its 24-acre site also offers nursing and medical care for children with severe disabilities and complex health needs. It also has an extensive research programme and provides online support for families all over the UK.
