First brain injury rehabilitation centre for Wales

The £3.2m centre was officially opened on 25 March.

Services on offer at the Llanelli centre include assessment and rehabilitation. The Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust (Birt) is the group behind the centre, which was completed last summer. There are 24 beds, 18 of which will have en suite rooms in the main centre, two independent living flats and four fully furnished self-contained apartments on site. This means that Welsh patients no longer need to travel out of the country to receive rehabilitation. Read more here.
