Dancing on Ice star sorry for 'locked-in' jibe

Dancing on Ice judge Jason Gardiner has apologised after he told a contestant on the ITV show he looked like he "had locked-in syndrome”. The Australian judge made the comment about X Factor winner Shayne Ward’s performance on the ice skating show, prompting complaints to the media watchdog and a furious reaction on Twitter. Locked-in syndrome can follow a stroke or a brain injury, and some fans of the show have called for the judge to be sacked. Mr Gardiner told The Sun: “I sincerely apologise for any offence caused. That was never my intention.” Read the story in The Sun here.  What do you think? Start a forum discussion here.
