Be #ConcussionAware

An important campaign for schools and parents.

We are delighted to be supporting Be #ConcussionAware campaign. It has been launched by brain injury charity, Headway as part of their Action for Brain Injury Week (9-15 May). As part of the initiative we have created a #ConcussionAware poster for schools, parents and anyone else who works with children.  The poster is aimed at educating school staff and raising awareness of this often hidden brain injury, the possible long-term effects and how to support a child. We hope the information will help people understand a concussion, the sometimes subtle symptoms and the long-term effects it can lead to. Concussion is a brain injury and a child doesn’t have to experience a loss of consciousness to experience one. #ConcussionAware poster factsheets for your school or home can be downloaded by clicking the links below.   Click here for more information on concussion.
