Alfie moves audience at Christmas Concert

The 26-year-old made a remarkable recovery following a brain injury sustained as a child.

Alfie, from Enfield, spoke to the audience at the concert about his experience. He was ten when he was knocked off his biked and suffered his brain injury. His parents were told that he would not make much of a recovery.  The Christmas Concert was held to raise money for The Children's Trust, the UK's leading charity for children with brain injury and where Alfie received rehabilitation.  It was held at Cadogan Hall and was attended by the charity's ambassadors, newsreader, Nicholas Owen and actress, Amanda Burton.  The below short film shows Alfie during his time in recovery in 1999.
