Poll: 80 per cent of families "didn't have enough support"

Eighty per cent of families don’t feel they had enough support during the Special Educational Needs (SEN) process.

The SEN process establishes whether a child has special educational needs, and then works out how those needs should be met in the local education system. A poll by the Brain Injury Hub found that the vast majority felt they did not have enough support during a process that is often fraught and stressful for parents seeking the best outcome for their child.
