The Family Day is a special time to bring everyone together for a fun day out away from the hospital and treatment, and for families to enjoy quality time together. The day will be very relaxed with a lunch at midday and it is all completely free to attend welcoming the whole family.  There will be a wide range of activities for children of all ages including Archery, Tunnel Trails and an Obstacle Course for all the family! Of course, there will be prizes to be won throughout the day! Each activity will be adapted to meet the needs of each child and there will be a chill out area if anyone needs some time out at any point.  Children and young people living with a brain tumour are able to meet with other young people of a similar age, as well as parents having the opportunity to meet with other families going through similar experiences. Former England rugby captain Lewis Moody and his wife Annie from The Lewis Moody Foundation will be at the Family Day.  They will be taking part in the activities and spending time with everyone, to add an extra sprinkle of magic to the day!  The Lewis Moody Foundation within The Brain Tumour Charity to help families affected by serious illness, offering days out and one-off experiences for children and their families as well as funding scientific research through The Brain Tumour Charity, aimed at saving young lives.
