Using Apps with Children who have Additional Needs. iPads and other tablets are proving to be powerful tools to teach children with learning disabilities, including autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy and brain injury.  Would you like to learn more about how you can use apps to help your child learn? Presented by Colin Dean, from award-winning North East app developer Special iApps, himself the father of a son with Down syndrome and other additional needs, this fun and informative workshop is for parents and carers of children of all ages, and from tablet experts to novices. If you have an iPad, bring it along! You can read more about Special iApps workshops here. For further information, please contact Cerebra Regional Officer Shona Chambers by email shonac@cerebra.org.uk or by phone on 07827848611.  You can book your place here.
