This year the JSP national brain injury conference looks at the effects of brain injury during childhood, adolescence and in older age are explained by our expert speakers, along with case material from specialist occupational therapy and case management practice, to demonstrate examples of positive long term outcomes. The day also addresses important changes in the legal system that affect both clients and professional practice. Specialist IT consultants add to the mix to bring us right up to date with ways in which technology can be utilised in brain injury rehabilitation. Finally, Francesca Martinez shares her personal experiences of cerebral palsy, providing a rare opportunity to see the world from a different perspective. Our event will be of interest to case managers, solicitors, deputies, social workers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech & language therapists, neuropsychologists, educators, medical staff, nurses, voluntary workers and anyone else working with people with acquired brain injury.
