Experts in surviving brain injury conference

The conference takes a look at the journey from surviving a brain injury to rehabilitation and beyond. The event is open to everyone, particularly those people who have suffered a brain injury, their families and carers, as well as medical professionals, and anyone working in health, social care and education. Speakers will include Sharon Morris, a mother who is currently going through the journey herself, Zara Bowden; Local Offer Co-ordinator and co-chair of the Parent And Carer Council (PACC); Dr Nick Crombie, Consultant and clinical lead with the Midlands Air Ambulance; Dr Andrew Worthington, a Consultant in Neuropsychology and Rehabilitation at Headwise; Headway Shropshire's Chief Executive Jean Robinson;  and Pauline Holbrook, director of clinical services with The Movement Centre in Oswestry. The event is hosted by Neil Lorimer, head of personal injury at Lanyon Bowdler and Kay Kelly, head of clinical negligence at Lanyon Bowdler. Read more here.  Ticket prices: £15 for indiviuals and charities
