DNEX 2017 - The Annual Exhibition of Disability North

Newcastle Race Course

DNEX is the North’s largest annual independent living exhibition taking place over 27 and 28 September.

The free exhibition includes something for everyone including digital technology, aids and adaptations for independent living and accessible leisure facilities. It provides information, advice and equipment for disabled people, older adults, carers and health and social care professionals on a range of disability-related issues. DNEX provides a unique opportunity to handle and sample products and services first-hand, empowering you or those around you to live independently. Moving & Handling People North Following the success of last year’s partnership, DNEX 2017 will be co-located for the second time with the Disabled Living Foundation’s Moving & Handling People North conference: the two-day CPD-accredited event for healthcare professionals. Disability North is honoured to provide the Disabled Living Foundation with an alternative, Northern venue for the long-standing London-based conference and exhibition. With an outstanding range of exhibitors from across the sector and an engaging and topical seminar schedule,  DNEX provides a fantastic setting for delegates to develop extensive safe patient-handling and transfer knowledge and skills. To find out more please visit www.movingandhandlingpeople.co.uk/north The Seminars DNEX boasts an interesting and diverse variety of free seminars presented by an excellent series of speakers. They provide an opportunity to gather information on best practice, and obtain first-class advice. All exhibition visitors are welcome to attend the seminars and, where appropriate, certificates of attendance will be awarded to healthcare professionals for their CPD portfolio. Details will be announced closer to the event. For more information about DNEX 2017 click here, call 0191 284 0480 or e-mail elenivenaki@disabilitynorth.org.uk.
