Childhood stroke parent support and information day

A day organised by four parents of childhood stroke survivors and a small team of health specialists supported by the Stroke Association. The day will include:
  • Opportunities to meet other parents and carers – to extend your support network
  • Presentations from doctors, psychologists, therapists and educational support professionals who work with children affected by stroke
  • Presentations will cover medical and research updates, guidance on seeking therapy and educational support, and information on the emotional and psychological impacts of stroke
  • Opportunities to share knowledge and ideas with other parents and carers
  • Information stands with resources relating to stroke in childhood
Places are limited, so you’re advised to book your place as soon as you can.
