The Child Brain Injury Trust’s 7th annual conference will take place in Birmingham on 27th March 2013, the title of this conference is:
“When the Bough Breaks” As the title suggests – when families face childhood acquired brain injury they often describe it as ‘part of their family has broken’. This means that they need to cope in new ways to understand what has happened and to ensure that the family moves forward as positively as possible. This conference aims to raise awareness of the issues families face following ABI. It aims to show case academic research, successful interventions, and highlight how professionals can embrace the subject matter positively in their day to day work.
